Private Tutions

Students should not be forced to study for longer periods. Private Tuition is absolutely FORBIDDEN without prior discussion with the Principal. Private Tuitions can be engaged in exceptional cases, where a child has missed classes due to prolonged illness or is a slow learner.
Tuition is injurious to genuine progress of the student. He/she is not encouraged to learn self skills and is prone to being inattentive, distracted and undisciplined in class.
If Teachers of Saint Mary’s Bhikkawala engage students of the School in private tuitions without prior written permission from the Principal, then disciplinary action will be taken against those teachers.
