Withdrawals and Leave

Application for T.C. has to be given in writing to the Principal by the parent/guardian along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 100/-. At least 02 working days are needed to process the Transfer Certificate. T.C. will be issued only after all dues to the School have been paid in full.
If a student is migrating to another district/state for further studies the T.C. has to be counter-signed by the (Bijnor) District Education Officer (DEO). The Parents will have to pay the expenses involved in this transaction.
Application for leave should be made to the Principal, well in advance stating the reason, number of days and signature of the parent/ guardian.
Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases are not allowed to attend the school. When they report back to school, they must produce a certificate of medical fitness.
If a student is absent without leave application for 10 or more days, her/his name will be struck off from the rolls. Re-admission, if granted will be done as per the rules of admission.
No pupil will be sent home during class hours.

St. Francis Convent School is a branch of the Institute of the Franciscan Clarist Sisters of the Most Blessed Sacrament. The Institute, a religious society was founded by venerable Mother Seraphina, a great educationist, in Italy. The aim of the society is to educate the youth and care for the destitute. The school was opened on 14 January 1957, with five tiny children, on the convent verandah. As days passed by, the request for admission was so great that accommodation became a problem. Hence, on 10 October 1961 the foundation stone was laid for the school building. In the foundation year the K.G. Section became a co-educational primary school. In 1977, Class VI was added.
